NFPA 1403 provides the minimum requirements for training all fire suppression personnel engaged in firefighting operations under live fire conditions and ensures they are conducted in safe facilities and in a safe manner for all participants. This is what the Flashover prop provides under the 1403.

 

Flashover Survival Training which will enable the student to recognize the signs and learn techniques needed to survive the phenomenon of flashover with classroom and hands on live fire training.

Prerequisite:See Appendix “A” for requirements.  Proof of Worker’sComp coverage.

 

Required equipment: Full protective equipment, SCBA, a spare SCBA bottle.

 The North Idaho Fire Chief’s Association understands that there are circumstances that are beyond our control and at times plans must be changed because of medical issues and or personal family matters.  If for some reason you cannot attend the course that you have registered for, you shall submit in written form the reason that you will not be able to attend the course, have your department chief or training officer sign the letter and submit this to the North Idaho Chiefs Association a.s.a.p.   The North Idaho Chief’s Association shall review each letter and make the determination to refund the registration fee or not.
